The legend of the lion’s head…

 

 

… Once upon a time, a long time ago, a huge rock broke away from the Atlas Mountain, rolling down the slope making a deafening noise.

The roar was such that an old crocodile that lived in the South, near the Mauritanian border, suddenly roused himself and rushed, thinking he heard the charge of a huge herd.

Upon arriving, he did not find the expected prey, but was not disappointed by discovering the rock whose shape reminded him of a face that crossed his path during his childhood in the African plains.

Convinced that the rock had stopped there, facing this magnificent body of water to protect him, the old crocodile decided to settle there with his family.

That is how many crocodiles are found today in Drarga …
